
This year’s edition of the Balkan Property Exhibition (Balpex), to be held from between April 18 and April 20 in Sofia at the Inter Expo Centre, 147 Tzarigradsko Chaussee Blvd, will highlight a number of retail and office projects, including eight large mall projects, the event's organisers announced, as quoted by investor.bg.
The exhibition is a part of the Balkan Property Week, which will take place from April 14 to April 20 in Sofia. Balpex, in partnership with Colliers International consultants and PricewaterhouseCoopers, will also organise the second regional conference Balkan Real Estate Conference (Balrec) on April 15-16 at Kempinski Hotel Zografski, which will focus on business opportunities offered by the property markets in Bulgaria, Romania and Serbia.
The main objective of the conference is to present the real estate market and the investment climate in the region. Organisers will host panel discussions with invited speakers representing the major industry players in the region, such as Trigranit, Federal Development, DTZ, Engel East Europe, Prologis, Invest Macedonia, MSI Developments, Colliers International, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Forton International, Unicredit, Tishman International, Immo Industry Group, Address, RE/Max Chance 69, Bulgaria Land Development, ACR Hotel Experts.
This year, the exhibition will feature eight large mall projects: Stara Zagora Mall, Mall Pleven, Grand Mall Varna, Carrefour Tsarigradsko Chaussee Mall, Mall Plovdiv, Mall Varna, Markovo Tepe Mall Plovdiv, Mega Mall Rousse and Business&Retail centre Kavarna.
Apart from the commercial and office developments, Balpex will present a wide gamut of residential developments in Sofia, Plovdiv, Varna and other cities, as well as holiday real estate – mountain, seaside and spa in popular locations like Bansko, Borovets, Pamporovo, Banya, Velingrad, Sandanski, Pomorie and Kavarna among others.
Some of the biggest projects include Residential Park Sofia, Modera Residence, Roslin Park, Panorama City (Galata, Varna), Borovetz Gardens, Aparthotel “Lucky Bansko”, Saint Toma holiday village and Riverside village.
Balpex will also stage the premiere of one of the largest industrial parks on the Balkans – Industrial Park Sofia, located in Bozhourishte municipality on a 100 ha spread.
Apart from retail buildings, residential and holiday properties, business projects from Bulgaria and the region, office centres, logistic and industrial parks, there will be also golf projects, real estate companies, architecture bureaus specialising in urban planning, building exterior and interior design, financial and insurance companies, mortgage brokers, property management firms.
