Real Estate Services Bulgaria, developer of retail complexes Mall of Sofia, Mall Plovdiv and Mall Rousse, announced plans to build a fourth retail-entertainment complex in Stara Zagora, RESB said in a statement.

RESB will be partnering with Gradus-1 OOD, active in food production and a leading company on the Bulgarian poultry market. The 72 million euro project was showcased on May 27 in Stara Zagora to city officials, among them mayor of the town Svetlin Tanchev.

The mall is scheduled to open doors in 2010. The company would not say when construction would begin.

The mall adjoins the central pedestrian zone, off the main bus station and will spread on 56 000 sq m of total built-up space, of which 21 000 sq m would be retail space and 6 000 sq m of office space. Its 115 shops will be allocated across three levels and a half, while the offices will be spread on five floors.

More than 30 per cent of the retail space has already been rented, CEO of RESB Petar Doudolenski was quoted in the statement as saying. The mall will also have 600 underground parking places. RESB is the investment arm of Cinema City International and Ocif Group.
